I've had family dogs in the past. My squirrel house is small, and I've always accepted small dogs because I love dogs!
I saw Mikey here in La Penita and he instantly came and sat with me, kissed me and wagged his behind waggishly (is that a word?). I knew then and there I've got to have him.
He will be so welcomed in my hot summer climates of the BC Interior and be the 1st Mate on my boat. He is destined to be my el compadre (little buddy).
I'm active with outdoor activities, namely motorcycle touring and cycling/hiking. Little Mikey already rode around in my bicycle basket.
He's perfect! Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers and owner at the Hilltop Refugio, I'm picking him up on Tuesday (January 23, 2024).
